VISION & MISSION

As an organization, we pride ourselves on what we do in each of the communities throughout the country in which we operate. Engaging in community service provides us with the opportunity to become active members of the community to make a change that will have a lasting, positive impact on society at large.

THE FEED THE CHILDREN (FTC) ORGANIZATION

Exists to end childhood hunger. It’s the cause upon which they were founded over 35 years ago and the one that they continue to fight for each and every day. Employees and volunteers know it takes the power of many to end childhood hunger for good. The FTC organization connects donors, experts, partners, leaders and communities to attack the problem from all angles. A firm stand has been taken and FTC will not rest until every child has enough to eat.

Feed the Children is thriving in a new era, marked by Christian values, integrity, resourcefulness, stewardship, and transparency. The dynamic executive leadership is actively engaged to strengthen the impact, extend their reach, maximize its internal capacity, fuel its resource engine, and build its brand. Organizations like ours, K9, is delighted to be national partners with FTC in pursuit of many of the same goals.

BOXES OF HOPE

1 pallet of 40 boxes feeds 40 families for a week
Must be picked up directly from any of the distribution centers listed on the flyer.
Coordination can be made to ship via trucking company for additional costs.
Pallets (critical information to a trucking company when quoting a price)
- Weighs 1,000 lbs
- Pallet dimensions= 40″ x 48″ x 60″
- Nothing can be stacked on the pallet, but it can be stacked and secured on another non-FTC pallet
- 1 pallet cost $800 each

BACKPACK BUILD

Costs of the items are a lot cheaper via FTC than if we went direct to a place like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, etc
All backpacks will include all the same items for each kids vs some items being name brand or generic depending on what is donated.
Backpacks and supplies will be sent directly to the chapter or direct to the school in the chapter’s name.
No shipping costs if order a minimum of 50 backpacks.
Different version of backpacks depending on the age group that you’re donating to.
Costs:
- Elementary backpack & supplies = $20 each
  50 x $20 = $1000
- Middle & High school backpack & supplies = $25 each
  50 x $25 = $1250
- Quantity can be more or less. As long as 50 are ordered, there is no shipping cost
